Alexandria Fiber Co. (AFCO) is the only Acrylic Fiber plant in Africa and Middle-east region. The Company produces high quality Gel Dyed and Raw white Tow, Top and Fiber for various end-uses such as Sweaters, Blankets, Carpets, Soft Toys and Awnings. AFCO’s state-of-the-art manufacturing plant is located at Amreya, 25 kilometers south of Alexandria, Egypt. It started its commercial production in March 2006 with a capacity of 18,000 MT/Year. The plant has the most modern acrylic fiber manufacturing technology from Japan Exlan. The basic engineering done by Kawasaki Heavy Industries Limited, Japan. In Year 2009, we have increased our capacity to 38000 MT/Year. We Produce Acrylic Fiber from Gel Dyed Technology. It is one of the most modern & fastest growing Acrylic Fiber plant in the world.
